Intro

My name is Daniyaal Anawar. In the summer of 2024, I achieved 90% (an A)* in Edexcel A Level Economics:

• 91% in Paper 1 (Micro)
• 86% in Paper 2 (Macro)
• 94% in Paper 3 (both)

I also managed 25/25 in some 25 markers. I received all 3 scripts back, so I somewhat know what my examiners liked.

Here’s exactly how I did it!

1) Understanding

The main resource I used for understanding was **Physics and Maths Tutor notes**.

• The simple notes were perfect: they covered all the content, concisely.
• If I was ever confused, I referred to the detailed notes

Additionally, I watched random YouTube videos after studying new topics to understand their real-world implementations — this REALLY helped.

2) Memorisation

I love Anki, a digital flashcard app available on all devices.

• I used the PMT simple notes to make Q&A flashcards covering the entire spec (~400 total).
